When the news machine we all call Pete Frazier starts grinding out information it's comparable to a dam bursting. First you get a bit of a trickle then follows the flood. Yesterday I told you about report that the finals of the WLSC will be filmed as part of preparation for a motion picture about stepping by Universal Pictures. I also talked about stepping on the small screen. They're hitting the morning TV show circuit in Chicago starting with Fox 32 TV on Wednesday September 3rd. He talked about bringing a few dancers to the television studios to do this. Yesterday, he released the early bird pricing for the contest finals plus this year we actually have online ticketing both on www.majesticgents.net and www.wlscontest.com as well as ticket locations around Chicago and around the country. When You hit the main page of www.WLSContest.com you'll hear the new radio commercial too. Club D'Elegance has consolidated it's ownership and has made Sunshine The promotions manager. One of the first changes she made is to bring back Mellow Khris on Tuesday nights. You can view the the entire lineup by going here and clicking on the plugger icon. There have been quite a few changes in the lineup.
In addition to yesterday's message: So far Dave Maxx, Donnie Davis, and Tanya Nash are the three names mentioned most as the 6 count gurus. A political idea... not democratic or republican... more of a lesson on economics perhaps. What would happen if the American public just stopped buying new cars completely for say three months until they put a car on the market that gets 100 miles per gallon for the same price we are paying for new cars now? Economic pressure would make those companies (both domestic and foreign) dust off those technologies they have had for the last 40 years but shelved due to pressures from the oil companies. You may ask why am I talking about that here? I just saw a commercial from a car company saying we want cars that get 30 miles per gallon... I call that out of touch! Personally I want one that gets 1000 miles to the gallon... or even better all hydrogen cars. The companies and the politicians only do what we the people let them get away with.
